Crockpot Salsa Verde Chicken Tacos

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 3.5 hours


  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins

  • 1 can salsa verde ( I use the Herdez brand)

  • tortillas

  • sour cream (Mexican sour cream is the best)

  • shredded cheese


  1. Place chicken in crockpot and cover with salsa verde

  2. Cook for 3 hours on high

  3. Shred chicken

  4. Cook for another 30 minutes

  5. Assemble tacos

  • it's a crockpot recipe, it does all the work for you (I LOVE crockpot meals)

  • very few ingredients

  • you only have to clean the crockpot (hello crockpot liners!) and the forks you use to shred the chicken
